Depart from Kampala or Entebbe at 07:00 AM for an 8-hour drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Stop at the equator for photos and a water flow experiment, and break for lunch in Mbarara. Arrive at Rushaga Gorilla Camp in the early evening for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, head to Bwindi National Park Headquarters for a briefing and begin your gorilla trek. Hike through dense rainforest with guides, spending up to an hour with mountain gorillas. Return to Rushaga Gorilla Camp. Optional forest walk or community visit if time permits. Overnight stay.
After breakfast, depart Bwindi for Kampala, stopping at the equator for photos and souvenirs. Enjoy a picnic lunch en route. Arrive at Entebbe International Airport in time for your flight.
